Notes & Thinking

What I learned from analyzing 176 cafe posts

Notes from the Piccolo Cafe project: repetition, rituals, and how a feed slowly teaches people what to expect.

After 176 posts, patterns become hard to ignore.

You start seeing what the brand reaches for again and again. You notice which posts feel alive, which ones feel functional, and which ideas could become stronger if they had a clearer format.

The biggest learning for me was that content strategy is not just making a list of pillars.

Piccolo had useful raw material: food, interiors, people, small rituals, and the feeling of a neighborhood cafe. My job was to study those pieces and try to turn them into something more repeatable.

I am sure I would do parts of the deck differently now. That is probably the point. The project taught me how much better an idea gets when it is attached to real observation.
